A SMALL SHOW OF ABILITIES.
Each dancer gets a close-up shot! This focuses on their sweet expression.
Each dancer gets a mid-length shot. Shown here: each hip-hopper has two set poses (for parental sanity) but then gets to show off three poses of their own! It's fun to see these!
Each dancer gets a full-body shot. This is an example from our special 'Company Schedule' (one tip from our our 'Special Scheduling Tips') where company girls set 15-minute appointments to show off their talent in front of the lens!
We take quite a bit more time with our baby classes! They often have at least 15 shots in their gallery of each dancer... they're special!
We LOVE incorporating a studio's fun props that really complement a costume like the one seen here!
We only bring a few simple sitting options (other than stools for group shots) for prop options. We firmly believe these photos should focus on the subject not what he or she is standing next to or sitting on!
We think these are MUST-HAVES for families with multiple dancers. We allow siblings to scoot in on a class session towards the end to get this fun shots!
Oh who doesn't love a contrasty black and white photo!? Any photo can be made into a black and white or treated with our popular 'Aged-Photo' treatment seen below... for NO CHARGE.
We strive for TIGHT and SYMMETRICAL group shots no matter their size. Here is a small group of older girls that we 'played' with the posing, but still kept it clean and organized.
See that tight symmetry again? We're kinda OCD about it! We definitely have the capability to do large groups but always ask ahead what is the largest so we can plan appropriately for equipment, space and most importantly, TIME!
This is just an example of one of our PERFECT group shots: it is symmetrical, tight, with a simplified pose to not distract from the true perfect piece: it's sweet firechicks! Feel free to ask more about our group posing techniques!
Who would've thought this MOST POPULAR ITEM!? We would have. They are so simple, so fun and so MEMORABLE. These are the only photos that come 'as-is' once galleries go up, meaning all the interesting background stuff isn't photoshopped out. They are always down in our 'Aged-Photo' treatment.
We do individual poses that show off costume as well as a dance ability attainable by all in class. We are big on good technique therefore want the easiest pose for all!
As the experience/age goes up, so does the braveness of our posing! She just nailed that beautiful turn out and point. Again, we want CLEAN final images, which can mean many things but individual poses it means correct technique!
The more advanced dancers have more 'flexibility' (pun intended for sure) when it comes to posing though we still always have two classic poses for each dancer in each costume!
Our new relevéART series allows families to get one-of-a-kind pieces of their one-of-a-kind dancer.
